Karim El Gammal

Karim El Gammal was born in 1968 in Cairo and boasts a fascinating blend of cultural heritage. His British background provides a unique lens for exploring various artistic influences, while his Egyptian roots profoundly shape the subjects of his artwork.

Karim's artistic portfolio is diverse, spanning from abstract realism portraits to expansive abstract canvases. He primarily employs acrylics on canvas as his chosen medium, focusing on the creation of powerful and dynamic portraits through the skillful use of layering and wash techniques.

His artistic journey was honed through five years of dedicated art classes in London, under the tutelage of Aris Raissis, a prominent portrait and figurative painter.
